Another member just reminder me how difficult the wait was for her husband. In all my worries, I had almost forgotten what my husband must be going through! So as a little reminder to let him know how much I love him and how thankful I am, I am going to pack a GOODIE bag for him; a bag with a book, crossword puzzles, a bottle of water, some peanuts and a few love notes. I won't let him know I am going to do this, but I will give it to him before I go into surgery. I think it's a wonderful idea to take a momentt to thank our supporter(s) in a little special way!
((My husband derserves so much more, beacause I am a big pain in the bottom, but this should help! ))

Please do!
It was a shared thought when another member mentioned her husband so I can't take the credit, but would love to share in the smiles it brings your husband!

What an absolute wonderful idea.  I wish I'd read it five days ago.  My husband was my rock the first few days and continues to be. He helps me with everything.  I know that day of surgery and the first night in the hospital were so very difficult for him, mostly due to lack of sleep, food and drink so I think this is a super idea.  I might would suggest a neck pillow or small blanket, too.  It wasn't until the middle of the night that the nurse recognized he was still there and brought him a sheet and different chair that wasn't so upright.

Yes, thanks I thought of that too! I'll have a recliner in the room so that should help a bit!
Wish I would have thought of it sooner.....Remember it's never too late to say "I love yopu for all that you do!"
Looking forward to seeing you on the lighter side of things!
